In ASAP at Mission High School

Dear Friends of ASAP,

Thank you for making last Thursday’s event, Champions of Tomorrow: An Evening to Benefit the Students of ASAP, the most successful fundraiser in ASAP’s history! We are once again humbled by your generosity and honored to be your partners in the important work of ensuring that our students are given every opportunity to reach their full potential in high school, college and beyond.

Operating full-time within a school each day throughout the entire year is exactly how we make an impact for our students, but it requires a deep commitment and we would not be able to make this investment without your support.

Through our close daily contact with students, we are constantly reminded of the challenges they face. Thank you for helping us show the student-athletes of Mission High that whatever challenges they encounter, they do so with a vast and diverse community of support investing in them and their futures.

ASAP believes that a college education prepares students to achieve their dreams and become our next generation of leaders, and we are proud of our role in creating a more just and equitable world.

Please check out our new video, made by Common Sense Media, which was premiered at the event and enjoy these photos from the evening.

With gratitude,

Liz & the ASAP team

Note: ASAP at Mission High School (formerly Athletics Scholars Advancement Program) merged with Mission Graduates in July 2020. This article has been transferred to Mission Graduates’ website for archival purposes and reflects the work, vision, and stories of ASAP staff and students at the time of publication.

A huge thank you to our event committee, volunteers, parents, students, alumni, event sponsors, Mission High staff, ASAP’s board, Lauren Markham and Charles Phan! We couldn’t have done it without you!
