Food for Thought

October 22-31: Together, we make a difference.

About Food for Thought

From October 22-31, we’re hosting our 11th annual Food for Thought! It’s a city-wide event in partnership with community-minded businesses centered around food.

Your support allows us to continue serving over 4,800 children, youth, and families – from low-income, Latinx, Black, and immigrant communities in San Francisco – on their path to and through college.

How to Participate

Bring your friends out to eat between October 22 and 31 at Foreign Cinema, Mission Bowling Club, or Panchita’s Pupuseria.

Make a gift! Each dollar raised through October 31 will be matched 100% by an anonymous donor.

Raise funds for Mission Graduates, on your own or with a team!

Dine-in or order out!

We’re pleased to welcome back the following restaurant partners! Click on their names below to visit their websites.

Food for Thought aims to increase the patronage of local restaurants in the name of supporting educational equity for San Francisco students of color. Between October 22-31, Restaurant Partners contribute a percentage of their sales or host specific drink menus in support of Mission Graduates.

Thank you to our Corporate Sponsors!

Food for Thought wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of these community-minded businesses.
