Welcome Back: A Message from our Program Directors
We’re so excited to welcome back students and families for Mission Graduates Summer Programs at our school sites!
This year, we will be opening our program at five elementary schools: Alvarado, Leonard Flynn, Bessie Carmichael, Marshall and Sanchez Elementary. Our other school sites will be hosting their programming at one of those five schools; Bryant will be hosted at Flynn, Cleveland at Marshall, and TECA at Alvarado. Our program will begin the week of Monday, June 7 and end on Friday, July 23 (there will be no programming on Monday, July 5). Check with your selected school site for the official start date. Many sites will operate between the hours of 8 AM and 3:30 PM, but please check with your school sites for program hours, drop off, and pick up times.
We will use a cohort model with a minimum of two teachers per cohort and staggered outdoor activities. The program will incorporate four components throughout the summer: academics, social emotional learning, extracurricular enrichments, and outdoor learning!
We can’t wait to see you again!
