Special tasting dinner & pasapalos from Venezuela benefiting Mission Graduates on Tuesday, September 21st (6pm and 8:30pm seatings)!
Pica Pica welcomes Venezuelan Chef Jose Luis Alvarez to San Francisco! We want to share his amazing Venezuelan cooking with you.
The event offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the origin of the flavors that characterize our menu- a unique mix of Afro-Caribbean, European and indigenous traditions, tastes and ingredients which are the hallmarks of authentic Venezuelan cuisine.
About Chef Alvarez:
Born in Maracaibo in the Venezuelan state of Zulia, Jose Luis Alvarez originally studied architecture but after three years decided to pursue a culinary career.
