This week is National Volunteer Week and I want to thank you for being a part of the Mission Graduates’ family!

There is no way we could do our work without you. Thank you for supporting our students in their success. You truly are building the next generation of the Mission District.

National Volunteer Week just happens to coincide with my first 90 days of being on staff here at Mission Graduates as the new Chief Development Officer. I wanted to take an opportunity to introduce myself to you and let you know that I am always available for suggestions or feedback.

I also wanted to reach out and personally Thank You for everything that you do. I know that you are busy and appreciate that you give so much to Mission Graduates.

The world that we live in often feels fractured and the students and families that you support need your support now more than ever in our history.

Someone once said:

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.”

Thank you for volunteering and voting every day for the kind of community you want to live in.

With Gratitude,

Adam-Michael Royston

Chief Development Officer
