Wednesday evenings, our College Connect juniors are busy taking ACT preparation sessions with Gus Mattammal, a tutor and director from Advantage Testing who does it pro bono. Every other Saturday, students are given a new ACT practice exam which then becomes a review packet for students to go over the next two weeks. This is a time for students to go over any questions they had during the exam.
These tests are timed and proctored like the actual exam. Ivan Aguilera, High School Program Coordinator, says this is a good simulation to prepare students for when they take the actual thing. We hope students take advantage of the ACT preparation sessions in order to give it their best when they take this important college admission exam.
