College Connect

High School Tutoring: Mission Graduates’ College Connect offers academic support to our 25 high school seniors and local college students. Matched with students that request extra support, tutors are assigned to work one-on-one with students in high school level subject matter and test preparation.

Through the year we have tutoring options for math, reading, and writing help, depending on the needs of our students.

Events, Fundraising, Communications and Marketing

Food for Thought: Mission Graduates hosts a “dine-out-for-good” fundraiser each year called Food for Thought. Volunteers are essential to the planning, preparation and execution of this event. Food for Thought 2016 will take place on October 19th, 2016, at restaurants around the Mission District.

Communications and Social Media: Mission Graduates operates three elementary after-school programs, one middle school program and a high school college access program throughout the year, each with amazing stories to tell. With a focus on photographing and documenting activities at these three programs, the Social Media/Communications Intern will assist with Mission Graduates marketing and communications to donors, supporters, volunteers and program participants.

Internships

As a nonprofit, we are always looking to expand our reach so that we can increase our impact. If you have a particular skill that you think could help our program, or want to get involved in one of our programs, let us know.

Typical internships include: program implementation, marketing, social media marketing, evaluation, and assessment.
