Erika is the proud daughter of immigrant parents, she was born in San Francisco and raised in Sonoma County. From an early age, she has been a passionate leader advocating for educational inequalities for first-generation students of color like herself. She is passionate about increasing diversity and inclusion through programming, especially for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds.
With a B.A in Social Welfare, Education, and Public Policy from UC Berkeley, Erika focused her honors thesis and research on addressing racial disparities in the education system. Erika is thrilled to bring her ample program coordinator experience, project management skills, research, and dedication to ensuring higher education is accessible to all.
