Charlotte La Riviere began working with Mission Graduates in 2014 after majoring in History at the University of San Francisco. She began as an Americorps volunteer at the Bryant Extended Day Program, before teaching the fourth grade after school class at the Marshall Extended Day Program for two years. Currently she is the director of the Sanchez Extended Day Program. She enjoys being able to share her love for designing engaging, creative, and content-based lessons and activities with the program.
Growing up in a single-parent, low-income home, Charlotte understands the need for ressources to be easily accessible to parents, students, and families. She believes each child has a right to a comprehensive education and her work with Mission Graduates is in an effort bring more education equity to San Francisco.
