Amanda has been at ASAP since 2014. Her favorite part of working here is building relationships with students and being one small part of their journeys to and through college. With a background in youth development and non-profit program management, Amanda has helped to expand our programming, manage and use our data, and continue refining our model to best serve students. Amanda received her B.A. from Vassar College in Sociology and Anthropology, and earned Masters degrees in Social Work and Public Policy from the University of Chicago. Previously, she served for 2 years in AmeriCorps, ran an internship program for high school students, and worked with schools on a healthy eating active living policy initiative. She lives on the sunny side of the bay in Berkeley with her family. Amanda runs ASAP’s Promise Scholarship.
