John O’Connell High School
Our College and Career Program at John O’Connell High School provides comprehensive support through all four years of high school, helping students develop personalized college and career plans with individualized guidance and resources.
We embed advisors in 9th and 10th-grade classrooms, providing academic coaching and attendance case management to ensure students build a strong foundation for college readiness.
Students receive personalized assistance with college applications, scholarship research, FAFSA/Dream Act completion, and SAT/ACT registration, removing barriers to college access.
Through evening workshops in both English and Spanish, we help families understand college financing options and post-secondary pathways, ensuring parents are informed partners in the college process.

I will always appreciate Mission Graduates, especially Kevin and Alicia. They have grown to be some of my favorite people to be around, and they’re always on top of students to get things done and offer lots of help and scholarships.
