Your Donations Drive
Real Change

Your support creates a lasting impact in our community. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve achieved together:

2 X

Students in Mission Graduates afterschool programming are over two times more likely to meet or exceed grade-level literacy expectations than students not in Mission Graduates.

100 %

100% of College Connect parents report that the program taught them how to help their child apply to college, and 90% say it taught them to prepare their child for the college transition.

90 %

90% of last year’s College Connect seniors are attending four-year colleges this fall—three times the rate in California overall (29%).

Who We Serve See Our Full Impact

Natalie Bess, my Writing Partner, was crucial in my journey to Pitzer College. She helped me find the right fit, encouraged my writing, and recognized my accomplishments. Her support pushed me to apply and highlight my strengths as a candidate.

Gabriela (Gabby) Portillo

June Jordan 2024, Pitzer 2027
Gabby was accepted into 15 colleges

Mission Graduates was crucial in my journey to UC Berkeley. They supported me throughout the college application process with workshops, resources, and moral support. MG became my second home, helping me and my peers achieve our college dreams. Their guidance opens doors for students.

Mission Graduates’ College Access Americorps Assistant

We believe education is key to social mobility and community strength. Supporting Mission Graduates shows future generations their community cares. As a long-standing organization, we know nurturing youth is crucial for continuing important work and building stronger relationships.

Executive Team

Mission Housing Development Corporation, Corporate Partner

With Mission Graduates, you see a real impact from every dollar given—the money flows directly into programs that help students succeed and parents become leaders. Very few programs engage parents like this in their children’s education, and that makes all the difference.

Claudia Viek

Founder of Invest in Women Entrepreneurs Initiative and long-time supporter

Volunteering with Mission Graduates was so meaningful that I immediately signed up for the next opportunity. I loved reading and sharing with this group of bright, funny, inquisitive, charming and curious kids. They are our future and deserve as much community support as possible.

Audrey Bree Tse

MD, Volunteer
