How It Works
Bring your gently used items to Community Thrift Store and designate Mission Graduates as your charity partner (our code is #9). When Community Thrift sells your items, Mission Graduates receives the proceeds to support our educational programs. It’s that simple! Your unused items become valuable resources for local students.

Community Thrift Store accepts a wide variety of gently used items, including:
- Clean, gently used adult and children’s clothing and shoes
- Jewelry and accessories

The Impact of
Your Donation
Your donated items help fund vital programs for San Francisco students, including after-school academic support, college access services, and family engagement programs. By giving items you no longer need, you’re helping create educational opportunities for students who might otherwise face significant barriers.
Students in Mission Graduates afterschool programming are over two times more likely to meet or exceed grade-level literacy expectations than students not in Mission Graduates.
100% of College Connect parents report that the program taught them how to help their child apply to college, and 90% say it taught them to prepare their child for the college transition.
90% of last year’s College Connect seniors are attending four-year colleges this fall—three times the rate in California overall (29%).
