"I'm Going to College" Rally - 5/30/08 Academic preparation is a must, but studies show that additional elements can have significant positive impact as well. One important factor is peer culture - particularly having a cohort of friends who each plan to attend college. For this reason, on May 30th, Mission Graduates invited every child in the Mission to take the "I'm Going to College" pledge and walk through the neighborhood with their peers to express that intention to the community. Please click here for our flyer, or read an article detailing this event.
