Welcome! A Message from our Executive Director - March 2009 As most of you know by now, Mission Graduates is the new name for a historic youth organization in San Francisco's Mission District. After 36 years as St. John's Educational Thresholds Center, we chose to adopt a new name that more clearly reflects our goal to see more children and youth from our community graduate from college. In essence, we're seeking to create more of what we call "college capital" within the Mission District. While the only thing certain about 2009 is uncertainty, Mission Graduates is working on a three-year strategic plan to help guide us through the turbulence.
