Mission Graduates High School Programs include Outdoor Challenge, Onward!, Mission Health Academy and College Connect. These programs develop youth leadership and facilitate college access through career exploration, college readiness supports and experiential learning opportunities.

Onward!
The goal of Onward! is to increase the number of Mission District youth who pursue post-secondary education. To achieve this, Onward! works in collaboration with Mission High School's College Center. Throughout the school year, Onward! leads informational workshops for students about college and provides seniors with individualized, step-by-step support navigating the college admissions process, including help with applications, financial aid, scholarships, and school choice.

Outdoor Challenge
In Outdoor Challenge (OC) youth build outdoor leadership and living skills that prepare them for college and life through experiential learning opportunities. Healthy risk-taking is encouraged, boundaries are tested, and social negotiation and team decision-making skills are practiced. OC participants learn to independently plan, execute, and lead local day trips (hiking, mountain biking) as well as complicated outdoor adventure trips (multi-day backcountry trips).

Mission Health Academy
Mission Graduates helped launch the Mission High School's Health Academy program in September 2007. This exciting program aims to expose students to the wide range of health care professions and guide them towards the appropriate educational pathway. Collaborators include Mission High School, Community Educational Services, California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), UCSF's Medlink program and Coleman Advocates.

College Connect
College Connect launched in Spring 2008. Each year, the program recruits 15-25 college-bound high school juniors from throughout the neighborhood who are first generation to attend college. This multi-year program provides structured, personalized college admissions support to students and their parents through high school graduation, as well as ongoing guidance during college.
