Eric Cuentos MCP
Eric has 15 years of experience working in nonprofits in San Francisco, with a commitment to supporting strategic partnerships and building the capacity of local people and institutions to be their own agents of change. Now as the Director of the Parent Partner Program, he is doing this by working with Latino families around how we can all be more effective advocates and partners for our children’s education.
A native speaker of both Spanish and English, Eric has a BA in Latin American and Latino Studies from UC Santa Cruz and a Masters’ in City Planning Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Besides his work at Mission Graduates, Eric is also active at San Francisco Community School where both of his children attend and in the Excelsior District, where he lives, as a member of the Community Well Fund Council.
